We are an approved learning provider for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and a member of their Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS). We accept enhanced learning credits for the First Response Emergency Care (FREC) 3 & 4 medical training courses.
How can we help?
If you are a member of or have recently left the British Armed Forces, we can help you make the next move in your career. We can assist you with the ELCAS funding process to support the study of pre-hospital trauma care with us. If you are studying to prepare for a new job in civilian life or are looking to add to your current skills, we can help you choose the training best suited for your ELCAS requirements.
With Prometheus Medical, you will undertake world-class training to equip you as an emergency responder with an enhanced medical capability to deal with a casualty in trauma or medical emergency.
Our Qualsafe-approved courses provide effective trauma medical management in all environments and industries.
The training is ideal for those who want to work in VIP protection, close protection, private security and specialist agencies (e.g. Diplomatic Protection). Gain the Level 3 Certificate in FREC for the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence and level up with FREC Level 4 to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with pre-hospital emergencies and other urgent situations.
The Ministry of Defence Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst Armed Forces members. This scheme provides financial support in each of a maximum of three separate financial years for higher-level education of a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above or, if pursued overseas, an approved international equivalent qualification with an approved learning provider.
