Prometheus Goes Solar

Here at Prometheus Medical, we strive to make our business as eco-friendly as possible. We have already planted nearly a thousand native British trees and shrubs on our premises in rural Herefordshire and the installation of 50 photovoltaic (PV) solar panels is the latest move in our attempt to make Prometheus as green as we can.

Provided by EZ Solar and made from monocrystalline, the high quality PV panels are guaranteed to last for at least 25 years. Our main aim in having the panels installed is to generate our electricity in the greenest way possible. As the photovoltaic cells in the solar panels generate electricity purely from sunlight, this is an extremely environmentally friendly way to power our main offices and education block with lighting and electricity.

Also at Prometheus, we endeavour to cut our carbon footprint as much as possible and reduce the amount of harmful gases that are being released into and polluting the atmosphere. We plan to install more solar panels in the near future and hope that we can make the most of these renewable energy systems that are now available to us.

We accept we are just one company in a very big world, but knowing we are doing our bit to contribute to saving the environment is something we can be proud of.
