This Notice applies to information collected by Prometheus Medical International and their respective webpages and apps.   • “Do Not Track” responses

If your browser attempts to convey a “Do Not Track” request to our site, we collect whether or not this request was submitted to the site.

  • Location information

We collect inferences about your location from your IP address, in order to serve you relevant location-limited content. We do not collect any other location information.

How we use the information we collect

We may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes:

  • to fulfill your requests for products;
  • to respond to your inquiries;
  • to contact you with site updates, newsletters, and other informational and promotional materials from us and third party marketing offers from our trusted partners, as well as from other companies;

Information retention

Your information is securely stored on servers in the United Kingdom, and access is restricted. We may retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We do not retain your information any longer than necessary to accomplish the purposes for which it has been provided to us and to meet our business and legal obligations. We dispose of your information by ensuring that our data is safely and completely removed from our servers and/or retained only in anonymized form.

Under the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • We have a contractual obligation;
  • We have a legal obligation;
  • We have a vital interest; and
  • We have a legitimate interest.

How we share your information

We may disclose information collected from and about you:

  • to our related companies and service providers, to perform a business, professional, or technical support function for us;
  • to our marketing partners, advertisers or other third parties, who may contact you with their own offers;
  • as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the Site Terms of Use or of our rights or the rights of any third party;
  • to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law (see Legal requirements to share, below); and
  • in the event that our company or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets (see Legal requirements to share, below).

We may also disclose your personal information with your express consent.

Social media features 

Prometheus Medical International uses social media features from Facebook, YouTube, and Google on its websites, and we actively participate in social media platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn as well as those already mentioned. If you use the social media features, such as a Facebook “like” button or Google “share” button, your information is subject to the privacy notice of that platform.

Legal requirements to share

Sometimes we may be required to share personal information for legal reasons, for example, if we are required to do so by a regulation, court order, subpoena, or other legal process. We may also share information when we believe it’s necessary to comply with the law or to respond to a government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect Prometheus Medical International, our customers, or others.

You are not required to pay to exercise your rights (except in very limited circumstances). If you make a request, we must respond within a short period of time, which varies based on local law. Protecting children’s privacy 

We do not direct the Site to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from, children under the age of thirteen.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the change(s) on our website. If we change the policy in a material way, we will provide appropriate online notice to you.
