Qatar Training Takes Off

After the success of running its first large training project in the MENA region last week (Prometheus supplied the UK Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Crew Course to members of the Oman Royal Flight), Prometheus MENA is delighted to announce that it will be delivering a further two Qatar based courses in January.

The Maritime VIPER™ course will run from the 20-24 January and instruction will be carried out by members of both the Prometheus MENA and UK teams. The Maritime VIPER™ Course provides the emergency responder with an enhanced level of medical capability to deal with a casualty in a trauma or a medical emergency.

Running in parallel with the Maritime VIPER™ course, will be the Specialist Pre-Hospital Emergency Resuscitation (SPHERE™) course.

Developed by Prometheus, the two-day SPHERe™ course provides the pre-hospital medical professional with advanced training in pre-hospital resuscitation to enable them to deliver elite, high-quality care in the critical emergency of cardiac arrest. The SPHERe™ training will be delivered from 21-22 January.

The Prometheus team are extremely looking forward to the upcoming training and will follow up with a post course article on completion of the Maritime VIPER™ and SPHERe™ courses.
