Prometheus supports Rowden House School

Prometheus staff were recently invited to attend Rowden House’s Summer Fun Day. Rowden House is a local school that provides individualised care and education programmes for children and young people ages 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. It aims to enable its students to engage in learning, improve their communication skills, self-manage their behaviour and form positive relationships with people.

For the past 18 months, we have been delighted to support Rowden House through the provision of practical work placements for one of its pupils, which have proved hugely enjoyable on both sides and, hopefully, will benefit the pupil in the future once they leave Rowden House.

Kev Gallagher, our COO, attended the Fun Day, along with two members of our team. They all had a great time and enjoyed seeing our pupil in his own environment, listening to the live music and enjoying the great food!
