Prometheus Charity Golf Day 2016 in aid of Mercia Accident Rescue Service

Prometheus held its annual charity golf day in aid of Mercia Accident Rescue Service on 24th June at the Herefordshire Golf Club, Wormsley. As always, the event (which is now in its 9th year) was a great success and a hugely enjoyable day out for all involved.

The event this year introduced a shotgun start and all 14 teams then went on to play 18 holes, with competitions and refreshments provided along the way.

We were generously sponsored by several companies and individuals this year. Whether it was a monetary donation or a prize for our raffle, every donation was greatly appreciated. We would like to make a special thanks to:

We are delighted to announce that the total raised was £3397.95, which succeeds last year’s donation (£3135.39). Luke Teece, one of the Prometheus team, presented Dr Mark Wheeler, from Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS), with the cheque.

A very big thank you to everyone who sponsored and participated in the golf day, which helped raise money for a local emergency charity that provides such an important service throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
