Prometheus is organising a CHARITY GOLF DAY in aid of MERCIA ACCIDENT RESCUE SERVICE on 10th JUNE 2011 at The Herefordshire Golf Course, Wormsley, Hereford and would like to invite you to enter a team for the event. Our aim is to raise £3,000 for this important charity.
Entry is £120 per team of four players with refreshments on arrival, round of golf, prizes and dinner. Please see the attached entry form for more information and how to enter.
The Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) is a local emergency medical charity (reg. 515343) consisting of 14 doctors and 2 specialist nurses who provide immediate medical care for the critically ill and injured in Herefordshire and Worcestershire in support of West Midlands Ambulance Service. All MARS members are volunteers and provide their experience and services free of charge. Last year alone they attended approximately 400 incidents across the two counties. MARS is one of our most valuable local charities providing life-saving care to our numerous road accident victims and Prometheus Medical Ltd believes it deserves support from the community it helps.
"A year ago...you saved my life when I crashed my Jeep. There are not enough words to convey how very grateful I am for your medical skills" - Patient thank-you card
"The work and level of care you offer Herefordshire is absolutely amazing. We are so lucky to have you [MARS], as so many people have benefitted from your care. It's very sad that a lot of what you do goes unnoticed." - Member of the public
