Prometheus Medical Nordic attends first conference; 37°
Attending its first exhibition, Prometheus Medical Nordic impressed the crowds at the 37° Life Science Technology Conference & Exhibition in Stavanger, Norway, earlier in June. The event was a hotbed of innovation, research and development within the pharmaceuticals, medical technology and robotics industries.
Historically known as a petrochemical hotspot, Stavanger is now home to an increasing number of entrepreneurs, with the local skillset helping to generate a number of forward-thinking companies in the region. Prometheus Medical Nordic represented the Prometheus Group at the exhibition, showcasing award-winning products such as the Russell Chest Seal® and Russell PneumoFix®, as well as discussing future innovations, concepts and approaches to known challenges within the pre-hospital and trauma care industry.
Nils Petter Oveland, Chief Executive Officer at Prometheus Medical Nordic, said, “This was our first event and we felt it was a great success. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed spreading the Prometheus Medical ethos of clinical expertise and a passion for innovation across the Nordic regions, enhancing awareness of our brand and equipment to develop a network within the region. Our stand was praised by attendees, with product demonstrations on a manikin simulator offering an extra dimension to the display.”
Nils Petter Oveland continued, “A wide variety of visitors came to the stand, from the layperson to the healthcare professional, interested in learning more generally about the pre-hospital emergency environment, as well as how to effectively use certain products and future innovative ideas.”
