MCA Proficiency in Medical First Aid on Board Ship Course
Aim
This training is intended for seafarers who are designated to provide medical first aid on board ship, in accordance with Regulation VI/4 of the Annex to the STCW Convention and Section A-VI/4 (1-3) of the STCW Code and the Merchant Shipping (Training and Certification) Regulations 1997.
Entry Criteria
Students must be at least 16 years of age and must have served at sea in a merchant vessel for at least 6 months to receive certification.
