IHCD Paramedic Award
Modular Paramedic Course

This HCPC approved Paramedic programme combines the theoretical course with the opportunity for practical placement and consolidation of clinical skills. The course runs over a 24 week period to include 8 weeks of classroom based study and 16 weeks work placement. Students who successfully complete all elements of the course will be eligible to apply for HCPC registration.

The course programme is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The course itself is run in partnership with South West Ambulance Service Foundation Trust at Prometheus' residential training facility.
