The ZOLL Infuser

The new ZOLL® Infuser offers an unprecedented level of control when infusing IV fluids or blood.  Whereas the limit on volume with traditional gravity or pressure bag driven infusions might be the end of a lighter bag, the Infuser can deliver an automatic 250mL bolus at the push of a button in two and a half minutes.

Developed in cooperation with the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, this device is the first portable electronic pump specifically intended for fluid resuscitation, not drug delivery.  It was built for the battlefield - small, rugged, easy to use, approved for use in aircraft - and is more than ready for the rigours of the EMS world.
