Prometheus Sponsor Dr Tom Konig & Captain Neil Jeffers on the Jordan Ultra Marathon

Captain Neil Jeffers (London Air Ambulance Pilot, Ex HAC) and Dr Tom Konig (Army Trauma Surgeon and London HEMS doctor) are taking part in the Jordan Ultra Marathon in September.  The run consists of 200 miles or the equivalent of 8 marathons over 6 days in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan.  This is the second year this event has taken place and Tom and Neil will be taking part with about 30 others.  They are hoping to raise £10,000 for the London Air Ambulance charity.  Ashurst, the city law firm have been kind enough to sponsor their entry fees and UKgear have sponsored their training shoes and Breitling are helping out with some other kit. Prometheus are delighted to be providing a BGAN – Broadband Global Area Network – which provides both a voice and broadband data communications service from anywhere in the world.
