Vehicle Rescue Kit

A range of lightweight tools that allow access to made into most damaged vehicles (including hand-operated hydraulic tools capable of up to 13-tonne lift/spread). The emphasis is on assembling equipment that is compact, simple, but highly capable.

This highly versatile portable rescue equipment increases the scope, ease and speed of casualty extrication. Includes:

• An array of manual tools
• Hand operated hydraulic spreader - with a lifting capacity of 4 tonne
• Industrial quality reciprocating saw
• Rechargeable battery with a long shelf-life, quick change time and large capacity.

Tried and Tested... Tests using this equipment resulted in entry to a Range Rover in less than 2 ½ minutes.

This equipment can be easily stored in the boot of a car and the principles are taught on the Medical Management of Vehicle Accidents Course.

Although the emergency services take a lead in situations involving vehicles,  machinery and other structures, this equipment allows initial rescue efforts to be made, particularly when back up resources are not immediately available , such as a major incident, travel overseas or in a location where emergency service response is likely to be delayed.
