WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This training is intended for seafarers who are designated to take charge of medical care on board ship.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age and have completed training in 'Medical First Aid on Board Ship' within previous 5 years.
WHAT WILL I STUDY?
This course is based on the MCA syllabus with considerable focus on diagnostic skills in primary care and providing medical care to the sick and injured on board ship.
