ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Delegates need to have completed an Intermediate Tactical Medical Support Course within the previous 12 months.

• Have further developed your existing medical knowledge and skills
• Enhance your understanding and gain practical skills in:
  - Surgical airway insertion
• Chest drain insertion
• Intravenous access
  - Intra-osseous insertion
• Be introduced to:
  - Operational medical planning
  - Tropical medicine
  -  Primary care provision
  - Major incident medical management
• The role of telemedicine
• Issues of risk, liability, clinical governance and audit
